During competitions you can wait hours between dances.  This time can be very stressful for a young dancer.  Thankfully there are some great Ipod Apps to entertain, educate and amuse a small child, teen or adult.  Although some Apps cost money there are several you can download for free.

The following is a list of Ipod Apps for Ballet dancers;

1.  Dress Up Angelina Ballerina — Featuring the character from the children’s book ‘Angelina Ballerina’.  Allows you to dress up Angelina.  Sold by HiT Entertainment.

2.  Ballet — A Dictionary of Dance Terms.  Sold by Liam Campbell.

3.  Little Ballerina -  A cute game where a little ballerina dances around on an old floor.  You need to fix the old floor boards by tapping so as to allow the ballerina to perform at her best.  Sold by OgeO technology limited.

4. Sauté On — The Ballet Dancer Jumping Game — “Sauté” is a ballet Jump.  Guide your ballerina as she jumps higher and higher landing on platforms and get special bonuses. Sold by Code 4 Development LLC.

5. IBallet Emma 1 — A collection of photographs featuring a semi professional ballerina.  Sold by David Barnes.
